Module 6 Discussion: Language and Learning

"Provide authentic and meaningful situations for social interaction and contextualized, hands-on learning opportunities." This can be applied often in an elementary science classroom. We do simple, safe experiments or demonstrations that allow for social interaction and hands-on opportunities. I can use this along with TPR to teach language and literacy in science.  ELL students can follow the commands of the hands-on activity with the TPR Approach.
