In this lesson, the teacher is doing a great job at explaining to his students how peer review of their work can help them to improve it, and that making mistakes leads to better understanding.  The students do a great job of explaining how to correct the mistakes made in the drawings, with each new draft, without making hurtful comments, leading them to learn that it is important to give feedback in a positive way, and that if they don't do well the first time, they can only get better by trying again.

Hi Heather,
Great observation! I was impressed that it was done by a 1st grader, as many 1st graders do not have a long attention span. I loved how the 4th graders gave constructive criticism, and were very observant!
