The final project would be the argumentative essay and the feedback strategy I would use would be peer review/coaching. Students would complete the peer reviews prior to completing the final draft. We would have a lesson on how to effectively peer review. I would give peer reviewers feedback on their comments. My feedback would include some of the following: 1. "Did you give a supportive comment for each constructive one?" 2. "Remember that the author's voice can be different than your own." 3. "Next time use an "I" statement when giving a constructive comment."
