I am a firm believer in TPR as I find that adding a physical component helps me with my learning. My biggest problem is that I have a small classroom, class sizes of 30-plus students, and my high school kids are adult-sized; this makes movement a logistical challenge, which grieves me because I know my students would benefit from TPR. I could see myself using TPR in connection with vocabulary study. I would like to provide my students with a physical action to associate with words, ask that they practice the movement, and ask students to come up with their own physical actions to accompany other words. Though I haven't done this, I will definitely try it during the upcoming school year.
