Module 1 Discussion: The Stages of Language Progression

I was really surprised at the achievement gap among minority groups. This is wholly concerning and a solid reason why educators need to be taking this course and adapting practices to better serve ELLs. I was also interested in the fact that language acquisition follows the same stages regardless of outside factors.
