Module 4 Discussion: Home Language Survey

I really feel the deeper questions suggested in the text are much more helpful than just knowing another language is spoken at home. 

What language does your child read or write? What languages has your child studied in school? (I think this is important because many countries do study English) What languages do parents speak, read or write? These can really help teachers in the classroom understand how to communicate and build a relationship with families.
