Module 4 Discussion: Home Language Survey

Having a survey for ELLs is very important.  I think the most important questions to ask are the first two questions. It is important to know which languages are spoken in the home and which language is heard and spoken most in the home.  That way, the teachers have more information about the student.  I think there should be an open-ended question added to the survey that asks for any other information the teacher might need to know about the student.
