We recently read a decodable text called The Swimming Sisters, these questions could be used for each stage: 

• Preproduction-Who are the swimming sisters?
• Early production-How would you describe the two sisters?
• Speech emergence-Explain what Mark thinks of the 50 yards. 
• Intermediate fluency-Describe how Kim says the 50 yards is like track. Look in the text for an example.
• Advanced fluency-Compare and contrast the character traits of the swimming sisters.
