Module 14 Discussion: What Has Changed?

I believe one thing that has changed is the teachers role.  In the past it was to be in front of the class leading lessons, asking the questions and expecting students to respond a certain way. Now we may model in the beginning, and then send students off to practice with partners/small groups or on their own now. The way we (students and teachers) use technology has changed. We now use it to learn, collaborate, produce and create. I feel we have been doing since 1995, since I was back then, however I believe teachers are more deliberate in how they plan cooperative lessons. I also feel we are still integrating school, family and communities, just maybe in new ways as society changes.
