Module 9 Video Response

After watching this video I really saw the importance of teaching through the arts. It gives students no matter what their background is to be able to express themselves.  The first school that was shown had many resources available to them and really was able to have heterogenous groups of students all learn together through teaching music. The groups of students learned how to work together as a group and learn from each other. Then in another piece of this video I watched a small school that had less resources but still have children tell their own stories through drawings and even use acting having each student have their own points of view on what objects were. Teaching through the arts can be a powerful tool for all students.
