Mod 2 Discussion: What the Research Means to Me

The research shows me that ELL students do better when they are part of regular classes and not separated for too long. They still need language support, but they also need chances to practice English with other students every day.

As a PE and Health teacher, Students are always working together, following directions, and talking during activities. I think every teacher should know how to support ELL students, not only the ESOL teacher. Small things like giving clear directions and showing examples can really help students learn and feel more confident.
