In PE, I would pair him with a classmate or put him in a small team for activities like passing drills or a relay race. That way he can learn by watching others, talking with his teammates, and working together toward the same goal. I would also check in with him during the activity to make sure he understands what to do. I think this would help him stay engaged and feel more confident.
