Mod 10 Video Discussion

Knowing that English is a complicated language to learn although I appreciate the video, I don't know how successful that would be to a student who isn't totally familiar to the English language. I do agree with sounding out the different type of "ow" sounds, but how exactly could a learner know which sound make sense if they aren't familiar? That's my only rebuttal to the video. I would still use some of the teaching strategy in some ways.
