Mod 2 Discussion: What the Research Means to Me

I like how the research highlights how important it is to provide students with both language support and access to academic opportunities. It also shows that ELL students benefit when they can interact and communicate with English speakers and receive instruction from teachers trained to support their language development. Including English instruction within the courses helps students build up their language skills while learning the subject, which benefits the student.
