When using data to differentiate my instruction, I presently do most of the steps in the data action process already. Something I may need to add to my current data action processing is asking myself self-exploratory questions. As of present, I use Exact Path, interactive journals, and PM2 data to collect and analyze students' needs. My differentiated instruction is created largely based on numbers, but I don't ask myself questions like the one suggested: "What practice have students had with drawing conclusions based on a text?" The reason is that I feel like I already know the answer. But looking deeper into intrinsic questions like these may help my instruction to be better curated to students' weaker areas.
