III. Responding to student’s varied needs for instructional support.

As a reading interventionist/school librarian, this is probably the only element of the criteria that I have been involved, or would expect to be involved in. I have done small group work with students who struggle to comprehend and meet curriculum requirements.

For some students small group work is the only way they feel comfortable to discuss confusion or ask questions. A stronger connection is able to be built upon which instills confidence, which can aid in the completion of (new) curriculum standards.
