Mod 9 Discussion: Oral Language Support in My Classroom

In my class, I use a lot of OPEN DISCUSSION.  In Civics, current events are often relevant to the topics and standards we are discussing.  With the easy access to news articles and stories, we use the class computers to research and then have open discussions on topics and how they relate to the standard and the discussion often leads to a much greater classroom interaction.
