The teaching and learning strategies shown in the video strongly connect to my own work with students. The video highlighted meaningful learning experiences where students were exposed to multiple cultures and languages, which promoted both participation and comprehension. While the video's setting differed from my own classroom, the underlying instructional approach is one I can apply moving forward.

I currently work in a K–2 IND classroom, and I can see how these strategies would benefit not only ESOL students but also my entire class. Many of my students benefit from explicit vocabulary instruction, especially with action words. Having students hear, search for, and physically act out the word helps them better understand its meaning, how it sounds, and what it looks like. This multisensory approach supports language development and comprehension for students with diverse learning needs.

Another aspect of the video that stood out to me was the use of two different teachers. Students were able to hear, see, and engage with lessons presented in different ways. I see similar benefits in my classroom when students work with paraprofessionals who review and reinforce what I have already taught. This repetition and varied instructional delivery help solidify learning and build student confidence.
Overall, both the classroom shown in the video and my own classroom emphasize growth and progress, allowing students to feel successful at their own level and promoting ongoing learning. Moving forward, I plan to continue using these strategies to support language development, cultural awareness, and meaningful education for all students.

I enjoyed watching two different teacher communicate with the students as well and present information differently.
