An example of a criterion based assessment is a state standardized test. Since we have to give those a lot in Florida through county and state testing, we re-create them for our students to become comfortable and know that they have the best chance possible to pass those test based on the standards. In reading classes we use programs like reading plus and other English based programs to help reinforce the standards and give students new material and question types to practice with.
