Mod 7 Discussion: Cross Cultural Awareness

I always enjoy teaching cross culture awareness through projects. The students get to be engaged and learn from other peers. I get the cross culture by paring two students up and have them do a small project on their culture that includes their partner helping and then the other partner will then return the favor by helping their partner and learning about their culture and then I have them compare and contrast the two cultures to see if they notice any similarities between the two. Most often then not there is and they get to bond over the similarities at the same time as learn about the differences and grow into apprectiating each others culture and traditions.
