Mod 3 Discussion: Moving Students Into a New Culture

 I will used my career as an example. Several years ago, I relocated from Atlanta Ga to Jacksonville. In Atlanta, we had a wide variety of cultural activities to choose from. When arrived in Jacksonville, activities were here, however not as plentiful as it was in Atlanta.

In an effort to become more acclimated with the city and its cultural activities, I immerse myself in joining other social groups which aided me in becoming more Intune with the events in the city.

In my classroom, I will present various activities and opportunities for my students to become more well-rounded students.
