 I am the kind of teacher that likes to make learning fun I would use the humor and emotion intervention approach.  I love talking to my students and finding out what they like, and I consider myself to be a tad bit goofy humorous.  I feel this approach would help this student feel comfortable enough to open up because I could us my talents to implement this approach since he reads at almost grade level.  I would also use the Employing and encouraging intervention approach.  I feel the use of creativity would also help.  I find with struggling CSS students if you allow them to speak or even draw their thoughts, they find comfort in completing assignments.   The same would apply for struggling ELL students.

I would also incorporate Inferencing strategies
