The student exibits traits of a field-dependent learner. The student gets along well with others and can work with others, as well as getting along with the teacher. One effective strategy for the student would to continue to put him in with small groups and be given differing responsibilities in that group. The second strategy would be to gradually emphasize time management when working with others to complete a task. This may be slightly contrary to the mindset of a field-dependent learner, but if it is done gradually it will help the student with future success.
