Mod 7 Discussion: Data Action
Module 7 Discussion
My ideal action research process is cyclical and deeply embedded within a collaborative professional learning community (PLC). Our grade level meets weekly, allowing us to consistently discuss student data, lesson plans, and curriculum.
This consistent engagement helps ensure my action research is practical in the classroom. By integrating data review with elements like curriculum maps, lesson plans, unit plans, and state/national standards. This also helps us identify any gaps or misalignment between what we teach and what students are expected to learn.
Ultimately, this approach ensures my efforts are purposeful, data-driven, and collaborative, leading to meaningful improvements in student learning outcomes within our established PLC framework.
