Mod 1 Video Discussion

In the video the teacher is working on action verbs with their students. One thing she does is play a game with the students. She reads an action verb, they walk around the room and find an index card with that word written on it, then they have to act it out. I really like this because I actually use movement in my classroom to help my students remember vocabulary words. I feel like incorporating movement really helps students remember what you are teaching. I never thought to do it with my ELLs, now I can take away from this video to do it with them with other things and not just vocabulary words.
