Mod 13 Video Discussion

The video about PS 29’s co-teaching approach made me realize the crucial importance of teamwork in assisting English learners. It is motivating to witness two educators collaborating to build a classroom atmosphere where students receive recognition support and find natural and delightful ways to practice language. These strategies such as language modeling and using visual supports along with creating opportunities for student interaction would be beneficial to implement in my own classroom. I am enthusiastic about working with my colleagues to develop strategies that support both language development and content learning goals. Through teamwork and idea sharing teachers build classrooms that welcome all students to succeed and develop. My goal is to integrate more collaborative approaches into my teaching practices because it will create a stronger sense of confidence and support for my students throughout their language learning experience.
