Mod 13 Discussion: Aligning Curriculum

The most crucial aspect of preparing curriculum for me involves constant monitoring to verify student mastery of the taught material. I understand that ongoing assessment enables me to determine my students' current understanding and the support they require better than just sticking to standards and key shifts. Keeping assessment at the forefront enables me to make immediate lesson adjustments through reteaching concepts or offering extra challenges or progressing to new material. The primary goal is to ensure that learning experiences hold genuine value for students beyond merely fulfilling required standards. My teaching approach allows me to stay updated on student progress while making my instruction more adaptable for their essential growth.
