Mod 11 Discussion: Teaching Critical Literacy

For the standard "compare and contrast" I like how this resources has a break down for student objectives. The students use visual items to look at similarities and differences in order to fill in their T chart. In my classroom I can apply this to comparing and contracting two books. Instead of a T chart we can modify by using two overlapping hula hoops on the floor so students can place index cards inside to see the comparison. They can write what they see fit.
