Introductions - Tell Us About Yourself!

Hi everyone! My name is Lauren Bowersox. I currently teach 4th grade math and science in Alabama, and this is my third year in the classroom. I absolutely love helping students grow in confidence and curiosity, especially when it comes to problem-solving and discovering how the world works!

Outside of teaching, I enjoy swimming, traveling, trying new recipes, and spending time with my husband and our cocker spaniel, Izzy. One fun fact about me—I was a competitive swimmer for 18 years!

My husband and I are currently preparing to move back to Florida soon, which we’re really excited about. Big changes ahead!

As for my favorite ice cream... that’s a tough one, but I’d probably have to go with cookies and cream. Can’t beat it!
