Mod 1 Discussion: Goals for This Course

One of my goals for this course is to learn strategies that will help me do a better job for incorporating the home language and culture of my non-native English speakers  into my classroom activities. Another goal is help my non-native English speakers overcome anxiety as a result of culture shock so that they realize that my classroom is safe place for them to learn. Finally,  I would like to learn better strategies for reaching out to the parents of my non0native English speakers adn including them in the educational process.
