As a teacher, I believe more teacher involvement should be considered when choosing textbooks, curriculum and non-text books, per school and per grade level. Every school community and culture that they serve are different. Some of the materials provided including assessments can be so condensed and overwhelming that they do not meet the students need because we are often trying to teach them so much in so little time.
