The biggest concern with Jin was that he is struggling with the complexity of the vocabulary as well as the expectations for the assignment due to the possible language barrier. Just as students in kindergarten are given prompts and supports when speaking about ideas, it is important to give him sentence starters and even use sentence strips as a visual aid while teaching.
