There are plenty of methods you can use as a teacher to pursue cultural miscommunication. Teachers can learn about the students' cultural differences and families' cultural beliefs. It is important to reach out to the parents and keep the communication open. Having open communication with the parents is very important to the child's success. Teacher will set classroom expectations and have the parents understand and communicate with their child. I would have the parents voice their beliefs, norms, practices in their culture. As a teacher it is my job to learn about the students likes and interests to build that connection with the students. I would provide any materials and resources the student would need to be successful. Most importantly I would build a classroom environment that makes the students comfortable and encourages the students to take a risks.
