Mod 7 Discussion: Language and Learning

This article talks about multiculturalism and the appropriateness of becoming aware and advocating about stereotyping and unconscious bias. The article talks about plans and ideas of how to represent underrepresented groups in the communities.  I believe that this is something that needs to be address not just with the students in the classroom. It should be address in staff meeting and board meeting. In my class we always talk about diversity and different cultures. The reason for this is to avoid bulling among the students and help the students feel culturally appreciated.
