To address the diverse needs of students with varying cultural backgrounds and language proficiencies is important to use a strategic way to group them. One effective grouping strategy is heterogeneous grouping, where students can learn from each others and provide multiple support to the needs of others. Another grouping strategy I use in my classes is flexible grouping. The students are regularly changing depending on individual needs and learning goals for the group of students to ensure that students are constantly supported and challenged.
