Discussion: Final Reflection

This course has been very informative and enlightening. It has made me view some methods and strategies that i use in class on a regular basis a little differently. I I taught reading last year and ended up with a couple of ESOL students. This year i am back to teaching math and looking for some strategies to assist me with working smarter and not harder with my ESOL scholars.  So as i am researching different ways  ot better help my ELL scholars learn math they only talk to me and won't  talk to the reading teacher.  I'm not quite sure if its a trust thing or what but i am grateful that they do talk to me and will try their best to have a conversation with me and join in on our mat discourse to the best of their abilities.
