Mod 19 Discussion: Taking the Lead on Literacy

In order for teachers to take the lead on literacy, I recommend that instructors in any content area begin with content-area vocabulary to introduce the terms they will be using in the lesson. I would tell my colleagues that this will help the lesson go more smoothly as the student learns knew concepts in the subject area.
