Culturally responsive teaching is a positive and rewarding thing to practice in your classroom. You can easily honor and integrate their culture by referencing the culture within the curriculum, lessons, and texts that are used in the classroom. This is good for native speaking students as well, all students are curious and eager to learn about different countries, and in my experience, the cultures that live there. ELLs participating in discussions like that can positively impact their learning.
