Scenario 8

  1. Understanding the curriculum and standards: Is the curriculum strong or weak? Does it go along with state standards well enough?
  2. Student needs: Think of assessment strategies, differentiation strategies, etc. Is the curriculum strong when meeting the needs of ELLs, special ed, and gifted students? Does it meet UDL principles?
  3. Resources: Identify and utilize the instructional materials effectively, integrate technology, and create and share more outside resources that align with the curriculum and its benchmarks.
  4. Data and effectiveness: Does the curriculum have a high or low impact on student growth? Will we see growth while using and implementing this curriculum? Can the curriculum be revised to meet the needs of students that are not showing growth?
