Mod 5 Discussion: Formal and Informal Assessments

1-    One of the most successful formative assessments I used last year was a lap folder as a project to review a reading. The students had to divide into sections the lap folder: into cover, summary, characters, plot, etc. They also had to create a glossary of vocabulary they found important. The project was done in the classroom. They illustrated it and at the end presented it to the class.

2-    From this module, one formative assessment approach is to give feedback and a description of the content based on our experiences.
