Mod 1 Video Discussion

In my case, with ESOL high school students, the teaching-learning has a foundation based on our cultural backgrounds and how we can merge into the new cultural experience. I always try to let the students use their primary language to express complex ideas and assist them in simplifying them using the second language. The content needs to be simple to let the learning process be successful.

Since the level I teach is in high school, I would use task cards to be completed as the walk around the classroom. In addition, they would use some cues or codes to complete a hidden message which could be shared at the end (sentences/ verbs etc.)
