Mod 13 Discussion: Aligning Curriculum

Of the four Achieve ELA criteria, responding to student’s varied needs for instructional support and regularly assessing whether students are mastering the content and skills are the most important. 

There isn’t much need to spend time focusing on alignment between Common Core or State Standards because this doesn’t impact student learning. It is only a useful guide.

Similarly, reflecting on shifts in standards is not necessarily going to have any relevance for my students.
