Mod 13 Discussion: Aligning Curriculum

III. Responding to students’ varied needs for instructional support is most important to me. Much of the other parts of the criteria are done together with my support team, but I pretty much decide how this piece will be tackled daily. With such a diverse group of learners (ELLs, ESE, gifted, other varied accommodations) my decisions for how to respond to varied needs in order for all students to reach mastery on the assessment is key. I believe that having a relationship with each student where they feel that I know and understand them is the biggest difference maker for me as a teacher.
