Scenario Response 4

In the scenario 4 the child is in the beginning stage of writing, I would encourage them by supporting the use of outlining and chunking. I always tell my students to read like writers, the more they are exposed to the better they become, it works as a wonderful model. I would encourage them to keep all of their writings and progress on their writing in their plp as a lot of struggling/beginning writers they get in their own way of not thinking that they are getting any better. Modeling is also a great tool. Peer review does take a while to get the hang of for it to be productive but having a friend read out loud their partners story and then the partners try to figure out together how to make each story better and clearer.
