Mod 9 Discussion: Oral Language Support in My Classroom

In my opinion, it is imperative to give students the opportunity to speak authentically about a topic. Using sentence starters, students could work in assigned small groups to discuss and provide a written response. They could then practice their written responses within their small group. After practicing within their original small group, groups would change members for additional discussion and practice.
