Mod 8 Video Discussion

I was particularly intrigued by the information presented in "WRITING TO LEARN vs. LEARNING TO WRITE" VIDEO.  With the proliferation of state assessments, I place too much emphasis on the process of writing. Moving forward into a new academic year, I look forward to providing my students opportunities to express themselves on paper without the teacher's critical academic pen.
