Module 7: Strategy Reflection

One of my favorite scaffolding strategies is a good ol' fashion graphic organizer. In the past, when I have taught reading, I would use these all the time! I would use it as a tool to show students how to organize important information. We would use this to identify bigger concepts like text structure or theme. Graphic organizers would be especially helpful for ELL students as it visually represents important concepts.
