Mod 13 Discussion: Aligning Curriculum

I would say that criteria 1 is most important in my classroom as a resource teacher. I like to make sure that the lessons that I am teaching in my room align with what the students are working on in the classroom or what the homeroom teacher believes the students might need review on. If I make sure that my lessons are aligned to the state standards, I know that the lesson will be more successful and relevant to the students. This is extremely important to me, as I only see the students for a short period of time weekly.
