Mod 13 Discussion: Aligning Curriculum

I believe that regularly assessing whether students are mastering the content and skills in the lesson or unit is the most important criteria for working with my students.  I use exit tickets as formative assessments as we move through the chapter, which helps me understand whether the student was able to master the lesson just taught.  Since these lessons usually build on each other, I would not want to proceed without making sure they fully understood the previous lesson.
