Mod 8 Video Discussion

As I work with the students in the library, I often try to match my lessons up with the what the students are learning in the classrooms. The video I really enjoyed was the "Labels and Drawing" activity for K-5. When my students and I were reviewing the rules and parts of grammar, it became a challenge for some students to understand the difference between adjectives and adverbs. I think this activity would help solidify what adjectives are (having to relate to a noun), in a fun and memorable way. Also, for my students who were ELL, it was a challenge sometimes to order their adjectives correctly. This activity could be adjusted to allow students multiple adjectives and then, encourage them to order the adjectives correctly.
